Ghostly Reckoning

In a brightly lit and sterile operating room, Dr. Hayes stands over Mr. Thompson, who lies flat on the operating table. Monitors blink and beep around the room. Dr. Hayes's eyes widen in alarm as the heart monitor emits a prolonged beep indicating flatline. Her hands, which were actively performing surgery, are now still, grasping surgical tools above Mr. Thompson's chest.

The beeping stopped.

Mr. Thompson finds himself floating in a surreal environment resembling a misty ether. The background is amorphous and dream-like, with swirling colors and shapes. Phil, a ghostly figure in a vintage suit and top hat, appears to him holding a twirling ghostly cane. Phil's expression is smirked and mischievous.

Mr. Thompson looks confused and disoriented as he floats in the ether beside Phil. His brows are furrowed and his mouth slightly agape. His hands are outstretched as if trying to find something to grab onto. Phil stands nonchalantly, holding his cane with a confident air, casting a sideways glance at Mr. Thompson.
