L’Èlia, la inseparable còmplice d’en Pol, xerrava i saltava incansablement sense poder amagar el seu somriure trapella, tot lluint una armilla ataronjada i amb unes bermudes que ens ensenyen els seus genolls pelats. i una màscara improvisada; i Violeta portava ulleres rodones i una bufanda llarga com una capa. - Avui serà el dia en què demostrarem que podem salvar el món, va dir Pol amb convicció. - I què salvarem exactament? Un gos perdut?, va preguntar Lluna, dubtant. - No ho sé, però estic preparada per a qualsevol aventura!, contestà Violeta amb entusiasme. De sobte, el terra tremolà. El tremolor alertà els nostres herois. Alguna cosa gran estava per arribar, alguna cosa molt peluda... Dues enormes rates aparegueren corrent cap a ells. Una era de color marró fosc, Dídac, i l'altra de gris clar, Eva. Eren dues rates gegants. - Amics, prepareu-vos! Aquestes no són rates normals!, va exclamar Pol. Són rates monstruoses! Lluna Violeta Pol Capítol 2 Les rates van començar a causar estralls al parc, corcant bancs i arbres. Els nens es miraren entre ells decidits: - Hem d'aturar-los abans que facin mal a algú, va dir Violeta. - Exacte, aquest és el nostre moment!, contestà Pol. Cada nen va treure la seva arma especial. Pol tenia una ampolla d'aigua amb refresc bombollejant (Refresc Volcànic), Lluna portava una xarxa de pesca (Xarxa Mil·lenària), i Violeta aguantava un xiulet (Xiulet Supersònic). Amb les seves eines improvisades els petits herois estaven llestos per actuar. Capítol 3 Pol va llençar el Refresc Volcànic sobre Dídac, mullant-lo completament. La rata geganta patinà i va caure en un pou. —Primer cal derrotar el més fort!, digué Pol. Dídac va cridar: Grrr… Lluna intentà atrapar Eva amb la seva Xarxa Mil·lenària però la rata la va esquivar. Tot i això ella no es rendí i va continuà perseguint-lo. - Torna aquí, gran bola del pèl!, exclamà Lluna . Violeta va utilitzar el seu Xiulet Supersònic, produint un so agut que feu que les dues rates es tapessin les orelles i retrocedissin. - És el meu torn, Ningú pot suportar el poder auditiu del Xiulet Supersònic, digué Violeta. Amb les rates confoses i menys agressives els nens treballaren junts per guiar-les cap a un gran camió cisterna ple d'aigua que estava prop. Les rates entraren sense adonar-se'n. Gràcies al seu enginy i treball en equip els petits herois van aconseguir neutralitzar les rates gegants. Capítol 4 Els tres amics van celebrar la victòria mentre els bombers arribaven per endur-se les rates gegantes. La gent aplaudia des de lluny. - Ho hem fet, som uns veritables herois!, va dir Pol. - I tot gràcies a la nostra amistat!, afegí Violeta. - La propera vegada ens enfrontarem contra dracs!, va exclamar Violeta amb il·lusió. Final Mentre els nens marxaven del parc parlant animadament sobre la seva propera aventura, a prop va aparèixer un camió especial transportant Dídac i Eva. D'aquesta manera els petits herois van demostrar que fins i tot els més joves
