The lesson

What this comic should leave behind

Jesus is near grief, and His word opens what seemed finished.

Ask: Where does our class need the words ‘come forth’—hope for new life?

The prompt we use

Hopeful Lazarus Bible comic: hillside Bethany; Mary and Martha greeting Jesus; Jesus weeping; garden tomb with rolled stone; Lazarus walking out in grave clothes into daylight, family embracing. No decay or horror, four to six panels, kid-safe resurrection joy, distinct from Easter empty tomb scene.
