Operation: Mascot

As fireworks lit up the night sky, Jessie observed from her makeshift hideout.

Mickey Mouse, who is standing near a group of kids, suddenly stops moving in mid-animation. His head slowly turns in a disturbing, mechanical motion, locking eyes with Jessie. The cheerful demeanor of Mickey Mouse is contrasted by the eerie and unsettling pivot of his head. The kids continue playing, oblivious to this sudden change.

Suddenly, Mickey's head turned, eyes locking directly onto Jessie.

'You shouldn't have seen this,' the Mickey involuntarily whispers.

Iron Man (Alien) appears around a corner, speaking urgently in a strange, alien language. His suit glows faintly in the darkness contrasted by the bright fireworks. His faceplate is up, revealing an expression of concern and haste. Jessie remains partially hidden behind the cotton candy cart, her fear escalating as she realizes the scope of the invasion.

Jessie's heart raced as stark reality dawned. It wasn't just Mickey.
