AI Comic Cost Calculator
Estimate your comic by finished pages, image-generation choices, and model credits. One page can be a single image with multiple visual frames, or several independently editable panels.
Calculate a real comic-page budget
One page. Two ways to generate it.
A full-page image may contain four or more visual story frames, but still use just one image generation. Independently editable panels need separate generations. Choose what you actually plan to create.
2. How much are you creating?
4 visual frames inside each image still count as one image generation per page.

20 image generations × 150 credits = 3,000 credits for initial artwork. This excludes additional revisions, covers, character assets, and other optional operations.
What if you choose the other creation method?
Single-image pages

Editable separate panels
12,000 credits
80 panel images
Initial image credits only, for the same model. One full-page image can depict several frames, but its frames are not separately editable panel objects.
Plan that fits this estimate: Standard Plan
15,000 credits / month. 12,000 plan credits left in this estimate.
Illustrative value of plan credits used: $3.60 total ($0.18 per page), assuming all included credits carry the same value. This is not a separate checkout charge or a guarantee of publishable output.
This estimates initial generation only—not redraws, rewards, or live billing. Model access, image quality, other assets, and account entitlements can change actual costs. Learn about full-page images vs separately editable panels.

How estimates work
Single-image page: number of finished pages × the selected credits per image. A generated page image may contain multiple visual frames but still counts as one generated image.
Editable-panel page: finished pages × separately generated panels per page × selected credits per panel. These independent panels can be edited individually in supported workflows.
150 credits is the default for Comic Auto Model panels. The 50, 100, 300 and 600-credit choices are planning examples with different typical creative priorities. More credits do not guarantee a better image; confirm the selected model and price in the generator.
This tool estimates initial image generation only. It does not calculate subsequent revisions, covers, character assets, exports, or other optional operations.See current plan allowances.
Frequently asked questions
Can one generated image become a page containing several comic frames?
Yes. One complete comic page can be rendered as a single generated image with multiple visual frames drawn inside it. Those visual frames are not separately editable panel objects. The single-image method uses one image generation per finished page.
How are single-image pages different from separately editable comic panels?
A single-image page may show four illustrated scenes but is still just one generated image. An editable multi-panel page uses several independent generated images, so the image-generation charge is multiplied by the number of independent panel objects.
Why does the calculator default to 150 credits?
150 credits per generated comic panel is the current Comic Auto Model default. You can select an eligible lower-cost model, such as 50 credits per image, or compare higher-cost model tiers. The selection in this calculator is an estimate, not a model change in your account.
What are the typical differences between 50, 100, 150, 300 and 600 credit models?
50 credits is a useful budget experiment, 100 credits suits everyday drafts, 150 is the Comic Auto Model default, while 300 and 600 credit examples let you plan for more demanding or specialized model options. These are illustrative use cases, not quality guarantees or a promise that every model is available in every workflow.
How many credits would a 20-page comic use?
With one generated image per page and the default 150-credit tier, 20 pages use 3,000 credits for initial artwork. If each page contains four separately generated editable panels, 20 × 4 × 150 = 12,000 credits. Choosing an eligible 50-credit model changes those totals to 1,000 and 4,000 credits respectively.
Do the estimates include revisions, covers, and other AI operations?
No. The calculator estimates initial image generation only. Extra redraws, covers, character assets, some editing, and other tools can have separate charges. Confirm the displayed credit amount when you generate.
Can I still find a plan based on monthly image usage?
Yes. The original monthly usage plan finder remains available in the expandable section below the comic cost calculator. It uses its own planning assumptions.
