Character selections are now confirmed when they are saved. Creators receive a clear failure message when a choice cannot be preserved, instead of continuing with an uncertain cast.

During panel redraw, explicit character mentions and their visual references travel with the redraw direction. That makes it less likely that a corrected pose or background will unexpectedly replace the person who belongs in the scene.
