The lesson

What this comic should leave behind

Jesus is close to grief, and His word can open what seems closed.

Ask: Where does our class need the word ‘come forth’—hope that something closed could live again?

The prompt we use

Hopeful Lazarus Bible comic: hillside of Bethany; Mary and Martha meeting Jesus; Jesus weeping; garden tomb with rolled stone; Lazarus walking out wrapped in grave clothes into warm daylight; family embracing. No decay or horror, four to six panels, child-safe resurrection joy distinct from Easter empty tomb.
