Profile-specific checklist
- For a bleed interior, add 0.125 inch to the page width and 0.25 inch to the page height; no bleed is added at the gutter.
- With bleed, top, bottom and outside margins are at least 0.375 inch. The inside gutter increases with page count.
- The 0.375 inch gutter applies through 150 pages; it increases to 0.5, 0.625, 0.75 and 0.875 inch at the official page-count thresholds.
- Submit single pages, not two-page spreads. KDP rounds the calculated manuscript page count up to an even number when needed.
